For me, it was perfectly located between my sisters wedding in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and my next destination of Albany, New York. My favorite spot was Maggies Crooked Cafe, which featured green juices, overflowing salads, and tons of small town smiles. I came home when the temps were high and the sun was shining. The air outside Scribner's Catskill Lodge is filled with the scent of cedar and pine, with the background noise of soft crackling wood burning on the fire pits. It was a three and a half hour drive from Philadelphia and I arrived to the tiny mountain town of Hunter after dark.
